 Saturday Mornings - Three Group Rides

 Group 1 – 6:30am - Moderate/Fast - Universe Loop - 50km ~28-30kph

 General Info: This group will consist of a range of capabilities from moderate to high fitness. The group will ride as one group for the first 30km to the Greater Western Highway at a moderate pace and then split into two groups (moderate and fast) for the 20km return to Parramatta, rolling turns down the highway.

Group 2 – 6:10am - Steady ‘No Drop’ Ride- Universe Loop  -50km ~24-26 kph

 

General Info: This ride caters for riders who want to improve skills and comfort riding in a bunch and indeed anyone who simply wants a moderately paced ride, Uses the same, famous Universe loop, joining the main group for coffee back at Parramatta.

  • Est Finish:        8:10am

  • Start:   Officeworks North Parramatta, corner Church Street and James Ruse Drive.

  • Finish: Parramatta (Social Hideout Café)

  Group  3 – 6:30am - Entry Level Slow Ride- Parramatta Park - 32Km ~ Self Paced

 General Info: An entry level social ride for those who wish to ride at a steady pace without road traffic. Group targets 10 laps of the 3.2km Parramatta Park circuit.

Sunday Mornings – Two Group Rides

 Group 1 – 6:45am - Moderate Pace – Windsor Road/M2 Intersection – 70-90Km ~26-28Kph

General Info: A moderately paced ‘no drop’ group ride with varying routes through western and northern Sydney.

 Times: 

  • Start:               6:45am
  • Est Finish:        10:30am

 Locations:

  • Start and Finish: Traffic lights on Windsor Rd, Baulkham Hills at the M2 overpass.

 Group 2 – 7am - Steady Pace

 General Info:  A moderately paced ‘no drop’ group ride with varying routes throughout Sydney. Can vary from gorge rides to bike paths. Expect 50-70km. Curiously, always seems to end at a cafe.

 Times: 

  •  Start:               7am
  • Est Finish:        10-11am

 Locations:

  •  Start and Finish: Varies by ride, and is advised in FB post.  Start locations include Parramatta Park, Circa Retail shops, Round Corner shops, Berowra Station car park.

 Routes: Various, including:

  • Windsor return
  • M7 bike path/Sydney West parklands
  • Maraylya
  • Mooney Mooney - “Second gate”
  • “Galston Gorge/ Berowra waters loop
  • Airport West
  • City and Olympic Park

 Annual Easter Ride

Good Friday – 6:30am – Windsor Richmond loop

 

The ride: this is our annual Fondo style ride with various routes and distances so the whole Club can participate. We head to Windsor and Richmond depending which group you ride, then onto Rouse Hill Regional Park for a BBQ breakfast before returning home to Parramatta.

 Meet: Corner Windsor Rd and Brien’s Rd North Parramatta (Office Works car park).
