CHOOSE YOUR CHALLENGE.
As a little incentive to get out and do a few extra kilometres on your bike this summer, the JCC is putting on a fully supported ride to challenge you beyond your regular riding routine.
The “Jindy 3 Peaks Challenge” is a fully supported ride, where you can choose between three levels of difficulty, all followed by an early-dinner and drinks (free for all JCC members completing ANY of the 3 challenges).
The most challenging ride will be the 178km “3 Peaks Challenge”, leaving from Jindabyne riding up and over Deadhorse Gap, down to Leather Barrel Creek, then back up and over Deadhorse, down to Jindy then on up to Charlotte Pass, returning back to Jindabyne.
The 2 Peaks Challenge will leave Jindabyne riding up to Deadhorse Gap, then head back down to Jindy, then up to Charlotte Pass, returning back to Jindy.
The least, but still very challenging route, “1 Peak”, will leave from Jindabyne heading directly up to Charlotte Pass, then back to Jindabyne for a well earned meal, free for all JCC members completing any of the 3 challenges.
This event will take place on Sunday 9th March 2025.
There will be support vehicles, just in case you require one, and snack/drink/aid stations at Deadhorse Gap, the rangers/info station (just past the pay-stations) on the Kosciuszko Road, and at Charlotte Pass turn around.
Further information and detailed logistics will be posted in the coming weeks, but for now, take a leap and join us in this fun challenge.
E-bikes welcome! All friends and family are welcome to join (must be AusCycling members). Non-JCC members would need to pay for their post-ride meals and drinks.
