 Parramatta Park Ride 

For those who want an alternative to the Universe Ride we are starting a new group in Parramatta Park.

Anyone is welcome to join with our group starting at the Governor's Bath House top of the hill on the Westmead side of the park.

Start time 6:30am or arrive anytime and join the riders wearing the Parramatta Jersey and make yourself known and join the group.

 

We ecourage PCC riders to wear Club Kit so visitors can easily pick us out.

We will finish just before 8:00 am and go for Coffee at Social Hideout corner of Victoria Rd and Church St  and enjoy the Coffee and Social atmosphere.

Universe Ride 

The ride: This ride is a cycling institution in Western Sydney. We head west through Toongabbie, Kings Park, Lethbridge Park and Mount Druitt returning via the Great Western Highway. See details of each bunch below and select accordingly.

 Distance: 50km

 Approximate return: all bunches 8:10AM

 Elevation / terrain: 500m / flat to undulating

 Bunches

 Start Time: 6:10AM - Average speed 26kph to 28kph. (Moderate)

Meet: Officeworks North Parramatta, corner Church Street and James Ruse Drive

For a steadier “no-drop” pace, joining main group for coffee back at Parramatta.

This ride caters for riders who want to improve skills and comfort riding in a bunch and anyone who simply wants a moderately paced ride.

 Start time: 6.20am - Average speed 30kph to 32kph. (Intermediate) - (implemented during COVID-19 - check availability)

Meet: PETBARN 561 - 565 Church Street, North Parramatta opposite By Street.

This group will consist of fit riders who would normally form the second group on the Great Western Highway, Junior riders on restricted gearing and riders that are able to keep up on the highway but unable to take a turn in the fast group.

 Start time: 6:30AM - Average Speed 33 kph + (Fast)

Meet: PETBARN 561 - 565 Church Street, North Parramatta opposite By Street.

This group will consist of very fit riders that would normally form the fast group on the Great Western Highway. You should be able to take turns down the highway with this group and be experienced riding at pace in a fast bunch.

Regroup at Parra for a well-earned coffee.
